Supply Chain Management System
The Supply Chain Management System assists Halstead with the business challenge of maintaining adequate stock levels without carrying excessive inventory. It provides "just-in-time" delivery while also predicting with increasing degrees of accuracy the anticipated arrival date of new inventory. The system achieves these goals by identifying the statuses that the vast majority of orders follow as they travel through the supply chain, establishing a hierarchy of default durations for each status. The following approach are used to identify and gather these details.
- Gather data from existing systems where possible and appropriate.
- Provide a user interface that allows external users to provide data when no system is accessible electronically.
- Lastly, the system allows data to be overridden by Halstead designated super-users.
Accomplishing the above goals answer the customer’s question: "When will my order arrive?". The system has the ability to determine the estimated arrival date regardless of where the order is.
Merchandising Deployment Program (MDP)
The Halstead Merchandising Deployment Program (MDP) is an online project management system. It empowers users to quickly obtain task information to ensure the timely completion of projects. MDP provides all employees with a metric to measure the success (and failure) of projects. This knowledge is critical for growth within an organization and to ensure projects are properly managed throughout the entire project life cycle.

Travel & Expense
The Travel & Expense System is an expense accounting management system. The system is used by employees to report their expenses. Its purpose is to solve the business problem of expense reporting by processing expenses quickly and efficiently.
The goal of the T&E System is to make all aspects of the expense reporting process less time consuming, less complicated and less isolated from the corporate accounting system while enhancing accuracy and control. Each employee of the company will be able to keep track of and document their own expense reports. In some cases, an administrative employee will process the expense reports of others as a delegate. Depending on the Security Level of the employee, there will be a variety of different functions at their disposal.
The high level functions of the Travel & Expense are to collect expenses, allocate those expenses, submit expenses for approval, integrate approved expenses into the accounting system and then store those expense reports for future reference.
